Information under Article 5 of Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce and Article 5 of the Polish Act on Providing Services by Electronic Means (ustawa o świadczeniu usług drogą elektroniczną).

1. Service provider

Legal form: sole proprietorship of a natural person (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) conducted by Lukas Wójcik under the business name above, entered in the Central Register and Information on Economic Activity (Centralna Ewidencja i Informacja o Działalności Gospodarczej, CEIDG), kept by the minister responsible for the economy. The entry can be viewed free of charge at biznes.gov.pl by searching for the tax identification number.

2. Contact

We answer in English, German or Polish. The same address serves as the single point of contact for authorities of the Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, and for recipients of the Service, under Articles 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).

3. The service in brief

reactive.chat is a live-chat service with an AI assistant, offered to businesses (B2B). Consumers cannot conclude the contract; sole traders who contract outside their professional specialisation keep the consumer protections Polish law gives them (right of withdrawal). Contracts are governed by Polish law; details are in the Terms of Service. Complaints are answered within 14 days: Complaints.

The Service is operated on our own server in our premises in Łódź, Poland; the AI models run on our own computers in the same network.

4. Responsible for content

Lukas Wójcik, address as above.

5. Data protection

Information on how we process personal data is in the Privacy Policy; how to obtain a copy or have data deleted is in Access and deletion. Supervisory authority: President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

6. Liability for content

6.1 Content of this website

We prepare the content of this website with care. We do not warrant that it is complete, correct or up to date at all times. Mandatory liability under the law is unaffected.

6.2 Chat content

reactive.chat provides the technical platform for conversations between our Customers and the visitors of their websites. We are not a party to these conversations. Messages of a Customer's agents and of its AI assistant are statements of that Customer; messages of visitors are statements of the visitor. We do not review messages editorially. Automated measures apply: before a chat message is stored, card numbers, IBANs, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers written with a leading + or 0, German tax and identity-card numbers and secrets are replaced by placeholders (not in data sent through the programming interface or entered in chat forms), and spam and abuse are detected automatically. As a hosting provider we are not obliged to monitor stored information; we act on specific notices.

6.3 Knowledge base and AI answers

The knowledge base from which a Customer's AI assistant answers is created and maintained by the Customer. Its accuracy, lawfulness and the rights to it are the Customer's responsibility. AI answers are generated from this content by language models running on our own computers; they can be wrong. We are responsible for the selection, configuration and operation of the models, not for the content of the Customer's knowledge base. The Customer must review the assistant's behaviour and can switch it off at any time. Details: AI Act information.

6.4 Reporting illegal content

If you encounter illegal content in a chat operated with reactive.chat, report it to contact@lukaswojcik.com, stating where you found it and why you consider it illegal. We examine every report and act as described in the Acceptable Use and Anti-Abuse Policy.

7. External links

This website contains links to websites of third parties. We have no influence on their content; the respective operator is responsible for it. At the time of linking no illegal content was apparent. If we become aware of an infringement, we remove the link.

8. Copyright and licences

The content of this website and the software of reactive.chat (texts, graphics, code and design) are protected by copyright. Any use beyond reading, in particular reproduction, editing and distribution, requires our prior written consent. Names and marks of third parties belong to their respective owners.

The Service uses openly licensed components of third parties. Our own AI uses open-source models under free licences. The country of a chat session is derived locally from GeoLite2 data created by MaxMind, available from maxmind.com.

This document is drawn up in English. Translations into German (/de/p/impressum) and Polish (/pl/p/nota-prawna) are provided for convenience; the English version prevails.
